The College
of Business and Public Policy Open Computer
Lab is located on the second floor of
Rasmuson Hall in room 209. Computer labs 215
and 216 function as part of the open lab
when classes are not being held in those
rooms. The purpose of the open lab is to
provide students who are taking a CBPP class
access to hardware and software needed to
complete homework for their class. A student
must be currently registered in a CBPP class
to use the lab. Registration in a CBPP class
incurs a one-time mandatory lab fee.
RH 209 has 42 Core2 Duo Processor 2.4 GHz
computers. RH 215 has 20 Pentium 4 2.8 GHz
computers while RH 216 has 30. All labs are
equipped with flat panel LCD displays, CD,
floppy, and USB drives, and access to the
Internet. The open lab also has two flatbed
scanners. Printing to laser jet printers is
offered at no charge.
A student Lab Consultant is on duty during
open lab hours to help students with logging
in, printing, flatbed scanning, and
introductory software questions.
